Finalist in the 'World of Words 2009' competition
The night air carries worried woes,
Coming from the white mens foes.
They all feel that, something's lost.
Something that has no cost.
Their mothers weep, the fathers cry,
They didn't get to say goodbye.
Swept from home in the middle of night,
Going on a life long flight.
Harmony is important now,
So say your word and make a vow.
Sorry to the stolen generation.
