Me Time.

We all need ‘me time’.
I’m sitting on the
muddy bank.
My bum’s wet.
Mum shouted at me,
Dad shouted at mum for shouting at me,
and Flopsy expressed
himself on the carpet.
The river water escapes through
my jail bar toes, rush hour
to scramble off the cliffs.
Leaves crackle and white fur
is plopped on my hand.
It’s Flopsy, my rabbit.
‘me time’ does work.
When someone special is with you.
