Valley Of Death:melbourne Bushfires 2009

Devastation has engulfed this land,
This land, now known as the Valley of Death,
The residents of Strathewen had no hope,
Fires screamed past,leaving no life,
Ember rains down.

I used my hose but nothing come's out,
The heat of the fire has melted it,
The heat of the fire's is unbearable,
Oxygen is drained from the water and air,
Toxic smoke cloud's any view,
The ear-piercing scream of the fire is deafening,
As well as blinding....

All that's left is a cremated valley,
Burned and lifeless,
Destroyed and colourless,
Bushfire's are merciless,
Deaths are horrible.
