Making Someone's Day

When one gets as old as me
You start to see things that only you can see
The grass looks so much less greener
Everyone seems so much meaner
Why? I simply don't know.
Maybe it's just my time to go
For up their next to Him
The world looks so much less dim
People seem to love much more
Offering help at one's front door.
Showing people trust and care
Instead of always charging a fare
So, when you take a step back and look
Love is not something you can hang up on a hook.
Just remember that everytime you say 'G'day!'
You are most likely to have just made someone's day.
