A couple rode to town
But the sun had gone down.
By the morning’s dawn
A King had been born.
Down an angel came
With news to proclaim,
“This early morn,
A King was born!
God’s very own son
The Glorious one!”
From the East, three Wise men
Journeyed to Bethlehem.
For in the manger
There was no danger.
Yet, as the little King grew up tall;
We did not know he’d die for us all. ?
