I walked down the road and saw my mother standing there. Arms wide open beckoning for me to come to her. She started to run to me, I started to jog to her. We met each other in the middle of the road. She put her wide arms around me and started to weep into my shoulder. My tears we flooding down my face, all our tears were of pure joy. People looked at us like we were lunatics, but we didn’t care we just went on crying. An elderly lady walked over to us and asked what we were doing. We didn’t answer we smiled at her and waltzed away. The truth is my mother and I haven’t seen each other since I was 3. It was pure joy to see her. My mother is 54 and I am 26. Now we are the best of friends. She will never leave me again, ever.
