They usually come in pairs called Mum and Dad
They rant, rave and shout
Laugh, giggle and joke
There’s always a lap to sit upon when you cry
They listen to your hopes, dreams, problems and fears
They give you a hug when glad
And dry your eyes when sad
They beam with pride on your achievements
And say ‘Good Job’ when you’ve put in an effort but
you don’t win
They cook, clean, wash, dry and nurse our
cuts and scratches
This is why we Love our Parents!!!
