Rotting remains fall to the leaf litter
And the waterfall continues on
Inside birds chirp and water trickles
Never-ending in the
Forest filled with great mysteries
Often trees will fall
Ready for another to take its place
Emergents rising above the canopy
Secret and sacred
Trees, plants and animals live on
