Everybody fears me, they avoid me at any cost
It’s because of what happens when I am around
Pain, suffering, lives lost.
I have been here since before the dawn of time,
Have been the subject of many a poem or rhyme
I instil fear into the living and make them think death
Is near, they shy away from me cowering in fear.
I surround your world in a dark velvet sheet as the
Sun falls away, all the living flee and hide away
While the dead rise and come out to play.
I bring feelings of dread and doom and significant
Loss, for I am Darkness eternal, avoid me at any cost.
The true nature of things from us.
