A Crime Against Mankind
Hear the longing in their voices,
See the hunger in their eyes,
Burnt out hearts and dark vices
Disliked are these souls of ice
Inky smoke clouds their minds,
Tears coat their hollowed cheeks.
A horrid crime against mankind
Then I’m begging you, please tell me why?
They tumble down with no grace,
Strangled, the souls escape scarred bodies
Leaving behind a trail, a wound,
Of a crime against mankind.
