The camels trekked across the sand
The only life within the land
They went in lines, two by two
Destination - Uluru
Along the way they found a bear
With large black eyes and long grey hair
"Why hello," a camel said
"Get on my back and ride instead"
Their parched, dry throats creaked with pain
Wishing for water, time and again
They kept the line, two by two
Destination - Uluru
They came across a desert dream
Large palm trees and a quiet stream
And although they knew it was not real
It never lost its reclusive appeal
And at last they reached their goal
Red with glory, brown and gold
Whilst they kept the line, two by two
Destination - Uluru
This massive stone that reached up high
That seemed endless against the sky
The dusty rock covered in cracks
The blowing sand covered their tracks
They went inside and looked up in awe
Quieted down by what they saw
The line was broken, two by two
Destination reached - Uluru.
