Alone in your bed, you feel it
It creeps toward you, slowly but surely
Darkness forges its way across your room
No light can keep it away, no lamp nor torch

It's taken over now, gripping you
Shaking, the tears flow down your face
Reminding you of every wrong you've made
Every mistake you've made comes back to you

Worthless
That is all you feel
Leaving you broken and displaced, the Darkness takes its leave
But you know it will be back with the next turn of the moon.
