You promised to call,
But that's an empty promise.
I am next to the phone,
Waiting.

You promised to call,
But you never did.
You gave me false hope,
That I believed.

I can't believe, i was so naive,
To believe you excuses.
I never thought it would end in,
Disappointment and tears.

You promised to email,
But that's an empty promise.
I am sitting at the computer,
Waiting.

You promised to email,
But did you?
Yu gave me false hope,
That i thought was true.

I can't believe,
You let me fall,
Fall into a pit of lies,
And not even save me.

But i am still waiting.....

After all these empty promises,
I am still waiting.
After all this waiting,
I still believe.

I still don't know why i am so naive,l
To still wait,
And believe
In your empty promises...

I am still next to the phone,
Waiting.
I am still in front of the computer,
Waiting...

I am still waiting on your empty promises.....
