My vision is blurred with tears
Tears I fight hard to blink back
A nostalgic memory washes over me
But I can’t see the memories of my past

Where have they gone?
I swear they disappeared
But I had not wanted to forget them
I had not wanted to move on

I wish I could travel back in time
Travel several years back
Back when I was still a kid
An innocent, happy, bubble of joy

Just wishing I wasn’t like this
I’m not who I was – not anymore
No matter how much I long for back then
Everything’s blurred and I can no longer remember
