This is love, love is light, love is leaving
Love is joy, love is hope, but love can hurt
Love is receiving, love is deceiving,
Love lifts you up or leaves you in the dirt

Love is simple, love is complicated
Love can be good, but love can be bad
Love is fated but can be deflated
Love is happy, love is sad, love is mad

Love can shine but love can become darkness
Love can open ones heart but leave it scarred
Love can be caring, love can be heartless
Love can be easy but also be hard

This is love, love is more then you and me
It's family, it's who we ought be
