A tiny tabby kitten, with disconsolate brown eyes.

Sat on the vestibule of a broken down house.

He was about to become homeless,

without any food or water.

I stood and gawked at this poor lonely cat.

Shook my head and placed him in my hat.

A long drive across the city we drove.

Now Tiger sits cozily in front of our stove.
