The Cookie Jar

‘Oh no no no this can’t be happening’ I thought. I had lost it. The one and only job I had and I screwed up. I just lost the most valuable object in Sedeeria to the cunning thief Èl Gigi Chic. She’d be so disappointed, she had grown up with it and was the true and rightful owner ( after it was passed through many generations). Although you may come into my home and not even think that it’s out of the ordinary as it is a cookie jar with cookies. Except this very cookie jar was created with a handful of Simtoplies Crystals melted to perfection and the only one of its kind. One bite of a cookie could give you powers unknown.

My thoughts were all jumbled of what to do like a scribble on paper. My hands glistened with sweat under the bright sun and my eyes started to sting. I was stabbed with guilt and punched with pain. I hated the feeling where matters slipped out of my hands. If more than two people were after the jar, it would break the spell that kept our land safe.That’s when I started to question myself. Should I go or leave it to grandma? Do I even have the courage to do this? The answer was obvious. As much as a coward I was I was going to have to go.

‘No time to change’ I thought aloud so I rushed out my stained wooden door only to breathe a sigh of relief. Èl Gigi was not far. Her cape was stuck on a branch and not cooperating with her. This was my chance. I slyly snuck up to her and snatched it. “Cya later, Èl Gigi” I sneered. If grandma asked, I was being a good girl drawing a cookie.
