Slugzilla’s Slimy Adventure

Slugzilla’s Slimy Adventure
It was a warm spring morning and Slugzilla was devouring his breakfast, an enormous leaf of lettuce that he had stolen from the farm nearby. Sluggo, Slugzilla’s friend, was munching on a cob of corn he had carried with Snailo who was Sluggo’s best friend from the farm. Chainsaw-Slug, another of Slugzilla’s friends, was again, cutting down another plant to eat with his chainsaw.

Slugzilla decided to run and grab a bunch of lettuce but, just at that moment he heard footsteps coming, big ones too. It was the evil farmer who owned the farm they had been taking food from. Immediately, Slugzilla slid across the grass to hide from the approaching farmer in a pile of leaves or a plant. Luckily for Slugzilla, a few centimetres from him was a patch of wildflowers. As he slid into the wildflowers a bee came out of the flowers and stung the evil farmer who then yelped out in pain and ran straight back to the farmhouse.

While the evil farmer was treating his bee sting, Slugzilla crept into the farm. He stole a few leaves of lettuce and then returned to all the other slugs and snails. After seeing the many jars of poison in the evil farmer’s shed Slugzilla worked out that the evil farmer wanted to eradicate all snails and slugs. He was determined to terminate the evil farmer forever. It would be a challenge to remove the evil farmer since they were all only molluscs, but Slugzilla was determined to carry out his plan to get rid of the evil farmer.

Slugzilla slithered away to go talk with his friends about killing the evil farmer. They all thought it was a good idea to get rid of him, but they needed a plan. So, Slugzilla and his friends discussed how they would deal with the evil farmer. One of the ideas was to poison him with a plant, another was to scare him so much he went away all together. Finally, they all decided on one idea and they would give it their all. They would destroy the evil farmer and never be bothered by him ever again and finally live-in peace. But when they really thought about it, killing the farmer would be too gruesome, so they needed another solution.

Slugzilla came up with a great plan. All the molluscs could create their own farm in the part of the forest that the evil farmer feared. The place where bees were abundant. Slugzilla slid over to his friends and told them the plan. He also said that they would have to refill the poison jars with water so that he could not hurt them after that.

Now everyone was happy. The farmer has slug and snail free crops and the snails and slugs have lots of lettuce.
