“Our love is meant to be.”
The lady that was laying on the ground of the radiant meadow slowly pulled herself up, her pale gown pooling around her in waves as she sat criss cross applesauce, hands laying gently on her lap. Birds sang their song in the surrounding trees, the flutter of their wings sounding every so often. The striking sun rays were blocked from the shade of the massive oak trees that guarded the meadow. The sky was clear, not a cloud in sight. It was a secret place that no one knew of. No one but them.
“What do you mean, Kai?” she questioned the man that lay beside her.
Kai lay across the ground in a relaxed pose, hands behind his head and eyes closed to block out the blinding sun. He opened his eyes to reveal sparkling blue bells as he sat up and turned towards the lady sitting next to him. He yanked her into his chest, wrapping his arms around her waist and squeezing her softly. He gave a toothy grin and opened his mouth to speak.
“I’m so lucky to be the man that caught your heart. To be the one to see your golden hair catch the light of the sun and see how it makes you look like an angel. To be the one to gaze into your forest green eyes that I can’t help but get lost in. To be the one to feel your body against me as I hold you in my arms. Fate brought us together Princess Medona, and I can’t believe you’re mine.”
Medona blushed bright pink and looked down at her lap, using her long blonde hair to cover her face. She felt two fingers lift up her chin, forcing her to gaze into Kai’s mesmerising eyes. She could only see love and affection in his eyes.
“I love you to the moon and back, my love,” he whispered to her as brought his lips down to kiss her forehead.
Medona lifted up her hand and ruffled his shaggy brown hair as she smiled gently at him.
“And I you.”
