The Raging Sea

White shells scattered on the sand
Washed away when the sea goes mad
Slapping and pouncing on swimmers at the shore
Castles damaged , Oh what a downpour !
Mighty waves invade the land
Making the golden grains wet and damp
Snatching buckets, spades and my hat
Carrying them to some island so very distant
Thankfully the flags were all fenced
As the raging water made us all so drenched
I stood there glaring at the waves
“Just look how wild they behave !”
At home time I smiled at the sea with all my zeal
How small and tiny it did make me feel !
