Every morning I wake up to the hearing of my mother’s voice calling me
Every morning I wake up, I hear my grandmother’s praying to god
I can see the bright glow of the sunrays hitting my golden windows
Brightens my cream walls to a warm yellow
I can feel my brain rebooting itself for the day
What will happen today?
I can’t feel my legs I can’t stand up
I’m so tired My eyes are surrounded with dark circles
Staying up so late the night before from watching one of my favorite dramas
It was so hot and humid last night
The feel of the heat burning through my skin
I can’t sleep
Listening to music through my earphones drifts me to sleep
I dream of falling
I dream of flying like a free eagle
I dream of darkness, My home
I’m sleeping
