Hallow is an old word meaning holy
A traditional game was bobbing the apples floating in a tub of water
Lighting candles inside the Jack o'lantern made out of pumpkin
Lighting huge bonfires on hillsides and everyone danced.
On this night the dead could return to the Earth
When night comes, children dress up and go from house to house giving people the choice of trick or treat
Eating seedcake, roasted apples and spiced ale at home
Eerie things might come to live
Name as the feast of all saints or all hollows
