Yesterday, the day before…the day before and the day before…
Every day for so long…
Is clouded by memories of you.
You tell me things,
No other has,
You make me say,
What I really mean.

Today was the best day,
Of my life,
And I know you will love me,
All of the night,
We can’t ever forget,
The way we felt,

Did I ever get a chance to say,
You make me crazy?
Did I ever get a chance to say,
You make me fall in love each day?
You make me forget,
The whole world!
Did I ever get a chance to say,
You give me a perfect life,
Did I ever get a chance to say
You keep me,
Out of strife?
Did I ever get a chance to say,
That I wanted you to stay?
Did I ever get a chance to say,
Everything I wanted to say…

It’s hard to believe the days pass by so fast!
But baby I know that you and I will last!
They can all disapprove,
They can think what they like,
But I don’t care,
With you,
I can have their perfect life!

I don’t know if I’d be here,
If any other got their chance with you,
But I don’t really mind,
They can be jealous if they like!

But did I get a chance to say,
You make my mind go hazy?
Did I ever get a chance to say,
I love you in every single way?
You make me remember,
All my dreams!
Did I ever get a chance to say,
I could be your perfect life?
Did I ever get a chance to say,
I want to make perfection,
Of myself for you?

And did I ever get a chance to say…
I wanted you to stay?
And everything I really wanted to say..?
