Keep Your Friends Close, And Your Enemies Even Closer.

The knife was still, held steady by my hand.
I knew what had to be done, this had gone on far too long, and it had to end now. As my foe waited anxiously in the corner, I lent forward with the knife, in a thrusting position and watched as it pierced his icy cold skin deep into his stomach.

A high pitched scream echoed from my foes throat. His last words and thoughts about the man who had so selfishly and easily taken his life. That man was me.
It was an ear piercing scream, a deadly blood curdling scream, high enough to shatter a dozen window, his face turned dull and grey, almost as if the life had been sucked out of him in an instant.

I retracted my blade, when the screaming stopped, my work here was done, and a simple as that i left.

My clothes were blood stained I had to avoid everybody possible, I sprinted down the dark valley dropping my knife and hearing it hit the concrete ground, and land in a puddle of dark brown murky water, but i didn't stop and look back and i had to get out of here.
I pulled my hood up over my head,to remain unseen and keep my identity hidden, the last thing i wanted was people to know who i was.

My apartment became visible in the distance and before I knew it I was standing under the hot water of my shower, it was so soothing on my icy blemished skin, the hot water stinging my aches and cuts, but it was all in a days work, for i was an assassin.
