The afternoon sun lingered, and bathed our soft skin. Our tiny feet skimmed across the cobblestones. The flowers bloomed in exquisite colours in the spring air. There was not a care in our heads or a worry in our souls. The only sound was Kate and I, giggling as we skipped further into the woods. "Anne, Kate" my mother called. suddenly our minds were zapped into existence. We ran towards our house. "what adventures have you been up to today?" asked Mum smiling. "Faries!" squeled Kate. Everybody laughed, "we saw fairies!" Kate said again as we ran upstairs to our room. Our dresses were neatly flattened on our beds, freshly ironed and ready to wear. we belly flopped onto our beds and started to talk. After our day soon we were asleep with no dinner to fill our bellies. Nothing from the evil world could get us here, we were safe.
