Me
When I write there's nothing that stops me from being me.
I put feelings onto paper that I would never let you see.
My voice sounds better on this paper, more important in these words.
I'll write of things you never thought, of things you've never heard.
I can write with such emotion, be it happy sad or blue.
My pencil fills the paper up with words that I hold true.
So next time that I question, who I am or what I'll be,
I'll write it down on paper, and there I'll find the precious me.
