Meet me when the sun veils herself
Behind a horizon of scattered dreams.
Reach out for me, translucent, in your peaceful sleep;
Hands almost there, yet never quite touching.
My dear, my darling –
If love is the tyrant of life, why is life moulded by love?
Without either, it would be a lessening of Creation.
Without you, I am lost in a myriad of oblivion.
Striving through the intricacies of everyday
Leaves secrets untold. We are still apart.
But look into your soul – therein lies my heart!
And when we are kindred spirits, I know you will, someday,
Meet me
Again.
