Trickling and trickling all day long
You are preparing for that swan song
As you prepare to fall from way up high
Where the inaccessible almighty heavens lie.
As you plummet further into mortal lands
You are surrounded by all your fellow clans
Yet, one by one they dive further and further.
Whether in Amsterdam or Warsaw
To me, you can never been an eyesore
From Mumbai to London, you’re loved everywhere
Sitting by the heat of the fire I’d watch you from my Windsor chair.
To see how magnificent you really are
Although you’ll only see the night
You are the one which brings the beautiful daylight,
For that is what you really are, rain.
