We say we'll be happy, when friday ends;
when we put down our books, pencils and pens.
But we realise on the morning of the day;
that Monday was only a wink away.
We say we'll be happy, when we wave goodbye;
to our books, teachers and old school tie.
But we realise the world's got expectations;
of jobs, careers and occupations.
We say we'll be happy, when we retire.
When we have time to just sit and admire.
But we realise life's becoming a bore;
and we're on the M4, to heaven's door.
From the Monday mornings, to heaven's door;
where is the happiness we've been looking for?
And that's when we realise, taht happiness isn't a destination
Happiness is a voyage; the voyage of life.
