I stand still,
As the people move past.
All rushing, To be first. To be best.
Rushing their way through life.
It moves quickly,
Past them, Around them, Over them,
But never into them,
Or they would stop. And think.
Think about why they’re here.
Remember that we,
Get naught but one life,
And that they have been pressing it,
To move faster,
And that life,
As it is,
Obliges
