A Lonely Street At Night

Wondering around the street last night,
Trying to find something to bite.
But all I found was a ghostly shadow,
Which made me run to a street that's narrow.
The street was cold and lonely,
And bats were sweeping across me.
I wanted to scream for help,
But it was only my soul and myself.
All I can hear,
Is the wind passing my ear.
I also can hear,
A voice saying "Get out of here!"
My arms are cold and numb,
So are my thighs and my bum.
My stomach is still so empty,
But never mind that,
Just leave ever so gently.
