I am sitting here,
And I will never forget
We watched you disappear,
From a life one cannot reset.
My grandmother, my Nan,
I love you, more than words can say.
You were gone, my life just began,
I only wished you could stay.
Your life was a short string,
They took you from me.
I only wish for one thing,
For you to be free.
My life changed, part of me gone,
When you left this world without us.
