A Letter To Cupid

Cupid I know you're coming soon,
for it's that time of year again.
Every 14th of February you come with your bow and arrow,
shooting arrows at those that deserve love.

I always pray you'll shoot me with your arrow,
to bring me love and happiness.
That is why I'm writing to you,
to hopefully accept what you bring.

Year after year I see those around me in love,
all thanks to your amazing arrows.
But the only thing i'm upset about,
is the fact that I haven't been blessed with love.

Have I sinned Cupid;
am I not worthy of love?
Have I hurt someone I never knew that loved me,
is that the reason why?

Please send me a sign Cupid,
for I feel so distressed.
I want to live my teenage dream,
my dream of a sweet and amazing valentine.

My letter may not get to you Cupid,
but I pray that it will.
I do hope this Valentine's Day that I'll get my wish,
but we'll never know until it's Valentine's Day.
