A dragon fly may seem gentle, graceful and kind,
But not all humans really see them with their mind.
For dragon flies want what all humans share,
It blossoms and grows in the misty air.
Humans may not see our shiny eyes,
In the moonlight as we watch them closely.
The shimmer of the candles flicker,
And their radiance is hard for us to endure.
We watch in awe as they chatter quietly,
Wondering whether one day we could do the same thing. But although we have freedom and can fly anywhere,
We’re not always happy with the burden we share.
For the quality that humans take for granted the most is the ability that dragon flies will never have:
The ability to love.
