Wouldn’t be nice,
if we could lie in a field.
Just watch the butterflies,
and lie perfectly still.
Or we can sit in the sand
at a beach far away.
Look after your children,
watching them run and play.
We could go on a vacation,
Somewhere nobody knows.
Just follow a dirt road,
and go wherever it goes.
It may lead to a forest,
maybe the Amazon.
I’m sure there’ll be bananas
for the kids to feed on.
But if you want to be safe,
we’ll stay in the back yard.
Pitch up a tent and pretend
that we’re landing on the sun.
