Through a dream
I soared across burnning skies
Through the night
Passing Tully in fire as
Grandpa crosses the paddock
To home.
As the sun rises
A faded moon sits on the horizon
I sat on a galliont Brumby
With the rythmic thumps of hore shoes
To the tapping of a screw driver falling to the ground
On a gresy floor
To the roar of a new engine
Grandpa smiling followed by a crackle from the radio.
In the upcoming day
And into the cars bonet
Mother sweeps
Nature screams
As she runs through the house.
Lights flickering
In the ice cold rooms
With the scents of roasting roast beef
Drifting like a ton lea off a dancer
Killing her feet
While she strived to succeed
