being a kid was so much fun
all we did was play
at school, at home
everyday.

as the years go by
we get more serious
putting our memories away
being less delirious

exams and assignments
mainly fill up my day
im no longer a kid
OH what a shame!

it wasnt easy being a teen
we're growing up fast
all those memories of being a kid
wouldnt really last

now that im here
now that im older
i carry a giant school bag
and put my books in a folder
