Leaves,
Withered, lifeless,
Rustling and crunching,
Vast array of colour,
Autumn

Storm,
Fierce,savage
Howling and raging,
Strikes fear in me,
Whirlwind

Flurries in the air,
And the snow shines like crystals,
Children laugh and play

Parched and cracked landscape,
Heat haze shimmers from red earth,
There is no escape
