A Friend In Need.

I never know what to say.
I can only smile and say it will be okay.
But is that what they want to hear.
To comfort their thoughts and endless tears.
I place a hand around them so they know im here.
But do they know I shall never depart.
As friend is an important part.
When a friend is in need then I will never go far.
I will stay by their side so that no tear will fall.
As that will be the greatest tragedy of them all.
