Nancy ran, her chest heaving. She had almost made it to the corner.
She took a quick look over her shoulder, he was catching up fast.
Panic filled Nancy as she heard his pounding foot-steps coming closer.
She had keep going! She willed herself to move faster,
she looked back- and saw him, eyes filled with anger.
Nancy almost stumbled, he came closer.
She stubbed her toe on a rock, he came closer!
She darted into an ally, dogs drove her out and he came closer!
He swiped at her shoulder!!!


Nancy sat up, panting.It was only a dream.
