All is still
The stars shine like jewels tonight
Dancing across the galaxy
Blanketing a broken universe in healing majesty

Then from the darkness come
A thousand thundering hooves
Beating the earth into motion
Reclaiming a freedom that was taken

These mustangs live for the moonlight
With hearts that will never be tamed
Their spirit carries the legacy of a time
When the west was their's alone

Now, running like wildfire
They will never look back
Long before light meets the horizon
Their shadow will be gone
