A Dragons Sorrows

People think a dragons life has no sorrow,
But they should really borrow,
A page from a dragons book of life,
So they can really understand their plight,
Being hunted for sport, their scales rare,
To be used in decorations, in ladies hair,
The fight with others, to find a mate,
Of their own species, and their state,
But one thing that they just don't see,
Is why there is such a danger to their family,
Because a dragons heart has such a power,
In a cream, that takes an hour,
Just to make, so the wearer looks younger,
And I understand their plunder,
For their fight to survive,
As they need magic in the air,
So that they can fly,
But there is such a lack of magic in the air,
That they have been forced to move,
But they come back to Earth,
So they can try to lay their eggs,
So that they can thrive and survive,
So very many people are wrong,
That a dragons life has no sorrows.
