Fingers tap
Keyboards click
Mouses swish
People mutter as they type
Teachers pace and glare over shoulders
Groans of boredom
Mostly from the back row
Conversation buzzes
Pencils scratch
Bored knees jiggle before they get pins and needles
Air conditioner hums
Wind whooshes around
Fans spin silently
Two feet flat on the ground
A firm grip on reality
School is life for now
