Fairies

I have to shut my eyes,
To go sailing through the skies,
To the pleasant land of play,
To the fairy land afar,
Where the little people are,
To help them on their way,
When it's not a pleasant day,
To guide them when their lost,
When all their hopes are tossed,
To help them have a great time,
When everything is fine,
In sunshine, rain or snow,
I just want them all to know,
That I'll be back very soon,
To keep their hopes up high,
When the sun begins to die,
Because it won't be gone for long.
