Camping
I remember waking up to the bright orange sunrise,
I remember the eggs sizzling and bacon cracking
I remember the warm sunset,
The soft white sand,
Tents and Caravans lined up everywhere
The smell of salt-water and sand, swishing around in the air.
The seaweed and the sound of splashing water.
I remember the warm burning fire coming from the near by camp¬¬ fire,
The smell of cooking and the sound of rain,
I remember the electric excitement as we drove down the windy road in the car,
I remember the Joy of laughter, smiles and fun,
Prawning for prawns, in the lakes and got none
Something I will treasure and I’ll never forget….
