Tear Drops On Your Tombstone

The droplets of water
Fall from the sky
Like the warm, salty tears
I feel the need to let free.
As they lower the casket
Of my one true love,
I proceed with a letter,
Never to be read.
Written on the headstone,
'A lover, a fighter,
A husband, a dad.
Here lies the body
Of Mr Carston.'
A lover, a fighter,
My husband, her dad.
