Frustration; it’s a cruel world out there,
Where insecure folk have nothing to share,
But the exasperation of the hopeless night air,
and they try to relax, but they can’t defeat scares.
Frustration; it’s a lover of strife,
It hunts the happiness and the sadness alike.
It is anger and longing to do what is right.
But you can’t, and it pains you each night.
Frustration; it’s collectively vile,
and it causes confusion, for it’s always in style.
You’re faced with the snare, when you’re craving a smile,
but you know you won’t get one…though you've waited a while.
Frustration; it’s a vein-throbbing beast
and though you can’t kill it, you can tame it, at least.
It comes more than goes (merely does as it please),
yet we seem to catch frustration more than any disease.
