Battles raging,
In such a small space.
Heart racing,
No heart in its place.
The mind disconnected,
My organs burning,
The soul blank,
With the strength of my yearning.
To see that face,
Evaporated of expression.
Frees a darkness inside me,
The shadow of depression.
Devoid of purpose,
The world gone grey,
Inhabited by a monster,
That is impossible to slay.
