A soft glow awakes my senses.
It reflects it's beauty upon a rippling surface that shimmers in the light.
Gentle waves tumble onto the soft white sand.
The sand tickles my toes and I feel weightless.
A subtle breeze whips through my hair as I am consumed by the relaxing scent of the ocean.
As I open my mouth, the salty air floods into my lungs, breathing me life.
I open my ears to the faint crashes of the waves onto the shore.
As I approach the water my feet touch the clouds of foam.
A sharp coldness stabs me, but I continue, further and further until I abruptly stop.
My heart is racing, my head spinning, light fading fast.
I feel adrenaline pumping through my chilled body.
I take one more fearful step and...
I awaken from my dream.
