Turtles glide peacefully in the frothy waves
As they drag through the plastic capped surfaces
Eyes blind of the effects of microplastics
They lay breathing painfully with plastic shards
Protruding their delicate throats and body
Thousands of marine lives pass away sorely
From the dreadful types of microplastic parts
Lethal pastes hold a majority of parts
The prevalent microplastics which create
Our world’s rancid pollution in our oceans
Fatal pieces of plastic float through our seas
Making our icy waters a perilous place
We make our oceans a grave environment
We have the strength to stop this flow of litter
Our world can handle all species together
We can change our world against microplastics.
